Satin Midi Dress

We made this dress from silk satin that has weight, not just shine, so it drapes around the body instead of clinging to one side like a cheaper viscose would. The cut is simple, on thin straps, with no zipper at the back because it fits without one. It works on its own for the evening, or as a base layer under a coat and boots for daytime wear. The color is a deep matte black, so it pairs with nearly everything in the collection. We make it in small batches in the same Portuguese workshop where we weave the satin itself.
